It's been awhile, I've been pretty busy. Looks like the Oilers block broke the page when they moved to the Nhl network. Should be alright now.

Nukeladder and Tc sources will be opened up for all shortly.
I've sat down a few times to start a new system with flex. The potential is there, but I don't seem to have the same drive for the gaming competition scripts at this time.

I'll be taking the forums down, or slimming them to a couple of forums. Mostly geared towards Madcat. Probably some more changes in the near future for this page as the content grows older and older.

I'm going to try and merge things into a main feed and have it here, hopefully that should keep this place a little more updated.

For those that don't know, Nukeladder is a set of scripts for Phpnuke which allow you to running different forms of competitions. The module allows your users to create teams and challenge other teams to matches, while keeping track of the standings.

About NukeLadder
NukeLadder is a addon pack for versions of PhpNuke, CPGNuke, PlatinumNuke, IPBNuke , PhpBB , vbulletin, e107 and possibly others.

Nukeladder lets you run multiple competitions for multiple games.

What kind of competitions? Well, Nukeladder now includes its own mods directory where you can load different types of competitions. Adding new competition formats is easy, and more are currently being worked on. Current formats include, league, ladder and knockout.(more below)

This flexibility lets you run different types of competitions all at the same time, with the same script, same teams, and players.

You can make your own mods with some php/mysql experience. More documentation will be provided on this shortly. This is a new feature that has been added.

Nukeladder comes default with 2 mod types, league, ladder.

League Mod is a league format (sorry no divisions yet, could be a new mod), Its standings are based on a rating, points, ect, depends what you would like.

Ladder Mod lets you run competitions like the WorldOgl, where you have to defend your rung. If you lose a match, the challenger is going to take your rung. You may only challenge up so many rungs.

NukeLadder has an in-depth team admin system. All the players are pulled directly from your cms database. No re-registrations!

Your users can create teams and invite or give out their join password for other registered members to join. If you want a way to increase your visitors and registered members this will be a good way to start.

Purchase Nukeladder

Purchases of NukeLadder can be made via PayPal.

Once a payment is completed you will recieve an automatic email letting you know how to aquire your purchased files.
Please contact blendz@shaw.ca if you have any issues, or this email takes longer than 12 hours. Please not all e-checks are subject to paypals mandatory wait period, you will not receive a mail with login information until funds have cleared.

NukeLadder Purchase cost :$29.99 USD

Been busy with some things so a public  release took a little longer than expected.
Just finished doing a test install on my laptop and seems to work as expected, after a little fuss anyway.

360 Hotkey is an application that allows you to control your pc's cursor, perform hotkey commands and launch applications with an xbox 360 controller.

Mouse movement is adjustable to 4 levels using the left thumbstick.

Information about setting up hotkeys can be found HERE

I cleaned up the dialog a little and added the ability to hide to the system tray to keep it out of they way.

Installation Requirements :

1. A 360 controller. (Only controllers using the wireless receiver have been tested. Direct usb connection is unknown.)

2. Directx 9c (Get the latest, had to update on my laptop before things would work. Generally a good idea anyway.)

3. Xna Framework redistributable (Found HERE)  (Should this fail due to no .net framework, run the 360hotkey installer, then run this before trying to use 360hotkey)

4. .net framework  (360hotkey Installer will install .net framework if you do not have it already.)

Download the 360 Hotkey Package here

Have Fun :)

Thanks to Joel Ivory Johnson via the Code Project for the example code.

Madcat is a a mix of tabbed browser, opml directory/favorites, vlc media player, irc chat, link sniffer with xbox 360 controller support.

Here are a couple (sorry bad quality again) videos to give an idea of whats in store.

If you want to help out, let me know.
Looking for testers and image/icon designers.

Heres a little video to show 360 hotkey.

Web cam doesn't have a stand and it's a pretty low lit room, but should be enough to get the idea. I should have a release shortly, just cleaning things up and doing some final tests.

Did a small update to the e107 package to hopefully help the problems people have been having. Should also be working with 0.7.8.

Couple of small fixes:

added require statement to kompete.php to include system_paginate.php.
changed the version number in plugin.php to 1.1 to avoid any caching of the old zips.

I had a problem uploading the package on my demo, but any other package as well, so I'm thinking it's my server.

Build is available in the owner download area.

Sorry all for the lack up updates and being missing from the forums.

I've been quite busy, doing a bunch of work to the building I manage, it seems the company who owns it is looking to sell. I'm hoping to stay with the new owner should they sell, but we'll see what happens when the time comes.  This also means I could be busy for a while longer.

With less free time I've been doing different things with it and I haven't been around the forums too much, if you need support for Nukeladder, shoot me off an email using the contact tab above.  I have been slowly working on a new update in which I'll be focusing on your feature requests.

My computer time over the past couple months has been quite interesting, I've been learning C#, and I think I'm hooked. If you like podcasts you might want to check back soon for my new project. I'll announce more about it soon once I'm a little closer to a public release.

I managed to give Vista a try, and I learned a few things.

1. Don't upgrade to Vista, do a fresh install.

2. 512 megs of ram is not enough. ( with 1.5 gigs it used 738 megs just to sit at the desktop??? wtf)

3. Few games running opengl might not run as you expect or at all.

4. The Bsod is still waiting for you.

5. Default settings will keep you hdd busy allot.

6. UAC is a pain in the ass

While I experienced all of the above, some of the features are nice and aero is kinda nice, Xp runs much much nicer for now.

I've got a 360 now :)   Gamertag : pXn 3merica
Mainly playing battlefield when I get time. Add me if you like.

Time to watch the Oilers in Detroit, Lets Go Oilers!
